LOUDONVILLE, NY – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will welcome Siena University basketball fans to historic Saratoga Race Course on Wednesday, Aug. 26 for a meet-and-greet featuring new men's basketball head coach Nevada Smith and women's coach Terry Primm. Both coaches – as well as select players – will meet with fans from 2-3 p.m. by the Jockey Silks Porch, before presenting the trophy in the Winners Circle following the fifth race, Siena Saints March On!

Smith, Primm, and players will be stationed for a meet-and-greet at the Jockey Silks Porch from 2-3 p.m., featuring photo and autograph opportunities. The teams will then shift to the Winner's Circle to present the trophy for the fifth race – Siena Saints March On! – with post time set for 3:30 p.m.
 
Fans in attendance during the meet-and-greet will also have the exclusive opportunity to purchase fee-free tickets to the recently announced highly anticipated exhibition between defending Metro Conference Champion Siena Basketball and Atlantic Coast Conference foe Syracuse set for Sunday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. at MVP Arena.
 
Siena will honor its 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship team that afternoon – which includes new Syracuse Head Coach Gerry McNamara, Orange players Gavin Doty, Francis Folefac, Tasman Goodrick, and additional Syracuse coaches and support staff – with a special pregame ceremony including the unfurling of the championship banner and distribution of championship rings. McNamara led the Saints to the program's seventh MAAC Championship and eighth NCAA Tournament berth in March before returning to lead his alma mater.

Saratoga Race Course action on Wednesday features the 12^th edition of the $200,000 Bolton Landing, in addition to the fifth race honoring Siena University, Siena Saints March On! Gates open at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with first post time set for 1:10 p.m. Highlighted by the 157th renewal of the Grade 1, $1.25 million DraftKings Travers on Saturday, Aug. 29, the Saratoga summer meet continues through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7. The Siena Men's and Women's Basketball 20-game Metro Conference schedules were both recently released, with the teams' full slates to be announced shortly with the announcement of their non-conference schedules. Tip times for all home games will be announced following the release of both teams' full schedules, and individual game tickets will go on sale in September.
 
The 2026-27 Siena Men's and Women's Basketball seasons are just around the corner, and the excitement surrounding both programs is high. Led by new head coach Smith, the men's program is primed to defend their conference championship. Primm leads a women's team set to return four starters, highlighted by reigning conference Rookie of Year Francesca Schiro.
