LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The Siena Saints Swimming and Diving Team will be hosting three separate clinics in an effort to teach the youth of the Capital Region about the sport. The three designated clinics will be held on November 4th, December 2nd and January 6th.
"I think this is a great opportunity for kids in the area to interact and learn from Division I athletes at Siena College," senior captain Kat Delaney said. "We are looking forward to a good turnout for our first year offering this program."
Group Swim lessons will be offered to children between the ages of six and 14 and will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Siena Swim Center in the Marcelle Athletic Complex on Siena's campus.
All participants are required to complete a registration form to be eligible for the clinic. This year's price will be $20 per session, which will also include a complimentary water bottle and a snack as part of the package. All funds from the clinics will assist the Siena Swimming & Diving Teams with travel and competition expenses.
Children are required to bring their swim suits, goggles and towels in order to participate.
Following the completion of every clinic, each child will receive a special certificate of completion, a prize package and a packet of information, including a team photo.
