Chris Klepps and Matt Gidaly homered in the opener to carry Siena to its first win of thge season, 11-9, at Charlotte Saturday. The 49ers rallied to win the nightcap 15-9.

Trailing 5-0, Siena scored in each of its final six at bats to pull out the win in game one. Klepps had two hits and three RBI. Scott King, Rick Seltzer and Gabe Perez also had two of the Saints' 14 hits hits in the win.

Sophomore Alez Burt went 3-for-5 with a homerun to lead Charlotte past the Saints 15-9 in the nightcap.

The two teams will finish the three game set tomorrow afternoon.
