Gio Conte have been named 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible for consideration, a student athlete must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically, possess a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average or better, and have competed in at least 90 percent or started at least 66 percent of their team's games (pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings). The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.Â

Additionally, Bergamotto was selected as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 23.

A native of nearby Schenectady, New York, Sausville earns CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight season. He possessed a 3.56 cumulative GPA through the conclusion of the Fall 2025 semester while majoring in communications-marketing, and earned Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic Team acclaim. Named the MAAC Pitcher of the Week on Mar. 24, Sausville led the Saints this spring in both starts (13) and innings pitched (52.0) and registered 46 strikeouts.

Bergamotto also secures CSC Academic All-District acclaim for the second year in a row. He earned Second Team All-MAAC honors following a standout senior season this spring. The Caldwell, New Jersey native ranked eighth in the MAAC with a stellar .345 batting average, and also led Siena with 58 hits. He appeared in 44 games (43 starts) and added three home runs and 22 RBI while registering more walks (22) than strikeouts (21). Academically, Bergamotto accrued a 3.66 cumulative GPA through the conclusion of the Fall 2025 semester to earn MAAC All-Academic Team honors, and graduated last month with a Data and Analytics Certificate. Â

Also now a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, Brooks maintained a stellar 3.84 GPA through the conclusion of the fall semester while majoring in business. A MAAC All-Academic Team selection, the Palmyra, New York product saw action in 41 games (37 starts) this spring, hitting .267 with three home runs and 23 RBI while posting an impressive .996 fielding percentage.

Falace earns CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in his career after maintaining a 3.82 GPA through the fall while majoring in communications-sports. A MAAC All-Academic honoree from neighboring Colonie, New York, he recorded a staff-leading 53 strikeouts spanning 38.1 innings pitched this spring, while limiting opponents to just a .209 batting average.

Also a first-time CSC Academic All-District selection, Conte holds a 3.88 GPA through the fall while majoring in strategic management. A native of nearby Albany, New York, he was named MAAC Co-Pitcher of the Week on May 5. Conte led all Siena hurlers with six wins this spring, and held the opposition to a miniscule .181 batting average against.
