Manhattan rode the momentum of the game one win into the nightcap, scoring a run in the first off Saints' starter Craig Chaput. Eric Nieto, who finished the second game 3-for-3, singled to lead off the game, stole second and scored on a sacrifice fly.

Siena tied the game with an unearned run in the second, as Jason DeFillipo delivered an RBI single to center field. It was the only run Siena managed off Manhattan starter Josh Santerre who kept the Siena bats off balance all game. Santerre picked up the complete game win, allowing just three hits and no earned runs.

Manhattan scored single runs in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings to clinch the win. Kevin Neito finished with two of Manhattan's nine hits and an RBI.
