Loudonville, N.Y. - Siena women's soccer senior co-captain Amy Loughridge and junior goalkeeper Patti Carroll were tabbed NSCAA East Region Scholar-Athletes, announced earlier by the NSCAA East Region Chairman. Loughridge collected Third Team honors, while Carroll was an honorable mention.
A local product from Guilderland, Loughridge posted a 3.71 GPA as an Economics major. This marks the second major academic award this off-season for the senior captain as back in November she joined Carroll in being named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Team. Loughridge has also been named a MAAC All-Academic Team selection twice.
A native of Middle Grove, N.Y., Carroll tallied a perfect 4.0 GPA majoring in physics. In addition to being named an honorable mention NSCAA East Region Scholar-Athlete and ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Team selection, she was also named a Leo Dufort Student-Athlete of the Month for November.
