Former Siena men's golf standout Bryan Bigley '07 concluded a stellar season on the Carolinas Pro Tour by winning the Tour Championship earlier this month at Raintree Golf Club in Charlotte, N.C.
Bigley shot rounds of 71 and 68 and defeated challenger Fernando Mechereffe on a playoff hole to win the championship. Bigley shot a composite scored of 139 in capturing the $8,000 first place purse. The win vaulted Bigley to third on the tour's money list.
A native of nearby Rotterdam, N.Y., Bigley completed one of the finest careers in Siena men's golf history. Amongst his numerous honors at Siena, he was of only two players in program history to have been named a Golf Coaches Association of America All-American Scholar and was awarded the Charles "Scott" McLeod Award at the 2005 MAAC Championships for finishing first overall.
