Final Stats
Siena scored six runs in the seventh to take a 9-6 lead, but the Patriots answered with four runs in their half of the frame to post a 10-9 victory Thursday evening. Anthony Giansanti had three hits for the Saints and Gary DerHagopian had two.
Dallas Baptist scored once in the first and four times in the second before Siena starter Craig Chaput settled in. Chaput allowed just one run over his next three innings of work, but left with the Saints trailing 6-2.
DerHagopian, who homered earlier in the game, knocked a two-run single after teammate Eric Mruczek did the same to highlight the six-run seventh for the Saints. The home team answered with four runs off five hits to close out the scoring and held on for a 10-9 win.
Dallas Baptist's leadoff man Ryan Enos had two home runs, three hits, three runs and four RBI. Ryan Goins and Ben Mrachek each had two hits for the Patriots.
The two teams complete their three-game series Friday afternoon.
