Matt den Dekker went 4-for-6 with two RBI, two runs and two stolen bases to lead #5 Florida to a 13-3 victory over visiting Siena Thursday night in Gainesville, Fla. Gary DerHagopian had two hits and two runs for the Saints.
Florida broke a scoreless tie with three runs in the third. Preston Tucker's two-run triple highlighted the rally. Ben McMahon homered to lead off the Gators' four run fourth.
Siena got on the board with two runs in the fifth. Larry Balkwell doubled home the first run and Andrew Sawyer singled home the second.
Florida put the game away with four more runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Siena, now 1-4 on the season, travels to Orlando for a three-game series with Central Florida this weekend.
