LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Junior midfielder Erin Hepper was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week by the league office Monday afternoon. She led the Saints with five caused turnovers and seven ground balls in two games this past week. She also scored four goals.

Hepper had three goals, three ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover in a 12-10 win at Wagner on Wednesday. She followed that with one goal, four ground balls, two draw controls and four caused turnovers in a loss to UAlbany on Friday.

This is Hepper's first MAAC weekly award of her career. She is the fourth different Siena player to win a weekly award in four weeks of reporting this season (Caitlin Mikel, Amanda Corso and Katie Maguire are the others).
