Round One -Individual Results
The men's golf team began their spring season in the Lonnie Barton Invitational, held in Daytona Beach, Fla. Michael Shine leads the Saints with an opening round 78 as the team is currently ninth with a 332.
After the first round, Michael Shine is tied for 13th and trials the leader by seven strokes after his opening round 78. Lou Walsh and Brendan Quintana finishing inside the overall top-50.
Lou Walsh is currently tied for 34th after shooting an opening round 83 and Quintana is one stroke behind Walsh with an 84.
Rounding out the first round scoring for the Saints are Michael Sutton and Scott Kim. Sutton scored an opening round 87 and Kim scored a 90 in his the Saints first outing of the season.
Robert Morris currently leads the Lonnie Barton Invitational after 18-holes as RMU's Santiago Mejia leads the individual competition with a 71.
The second round continues tomorrow morning in Daytona Beach, Fla. as the Saints will look to build on their first round scores and move up the leader board.
