Round One Results
The men's golf team is competing in their final tune up before the MAAC Tournament in Orlando, Fla. in a couple weeks. The men are currently tied in the eighth position at the Navy Invitational, held in Annapolis, Md. Michael Shine finished the first round in second place after shooting a 70.
Shine trails only TJ McNulty from Saint Joseph's University by three strokes as they head into the final round of the Navy Invitational tomorrow morning. McNulty shot a 67.
Brendan Quintana and Lou Walsh both finished the first round tied for 47th after shooting 78. Quintana shot a 37 in the front nine and a 41 in the back nine. Walsh was consistent, shooting a 39 in both the front and back nine.
Scott Kim trails Walsh and Quintana by one stroke. Kim finished the first round with a 79, shooting a 39 in the front and a 40 in the back nine. Kim's 79 currently places him tied in the 53rd position.
Rounding out the scoring for Siena is Riley McGraw. McGraw shot a 38 in the front nine and struggled a little in the back nine, finishing with an 84 on the day.
