Grayson Allen scored 20 of his game-high 26 points in the first half to lead defending national champion Duke past Siena 92-74 Friday night in the 2K Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project. Marquis Wright led Siena with 20 points. Lavon Long and Javion Ogunyemi each had 15, and Brett Bisping added 10.

"We did more good than bad, but (Duke's) really talented," Siena coach Jimmy Patsos said. "They're long, their defensive and their big. It was a good experience. I would have liked to have the game a little closer to see what we would have done down the stretch, but we're learning and it was a great trip."

Duke used a 13-0 run after Siena took its only lead of the game to build a 26-15 lead with 8:26 left. The Blue Devils pushed the lead to 42-25 with a 7-0 run in the final minutes of the first half and led by double digits the rest of the way.

Duke led 44-27 at the half and out-scored the Saints just 48-47 after intermission. Siena shot 51% from the field in the second half.

Siena didn't back down in the hostile environment, in fact over-aggressiveness was their undoing. The Saints committed 29 fouls, leading to 36 Duke free throws. Wright played just nine minutes in the first half after picking up three quick fouls. Bisping and senior Ryan Oliver each picked up their fourth fouls early in the second half, and Oliver and Ogunyemi eventually fouled out.

Long scored five straight points midway through the second half, but Allen's ferocious jam with 8:25 left gave Duke a 72-51 lead and electrified Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Amile Jefferson registered his sixth career double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Jefferson and Allen combined to shoot 15-22 from the field, the rest of the Blue Devils were 15-44.

Ogunyemi scored seven of Siena's first 11 points, and the Saints took their only lead of the game, 15-13, on a short Long jumper with 13:43 left in the first half. The lead lasted just 10 seconds as Derryck Thornton rose up for a three on Duke's next possession igniting the tide-turning run.

"I think we have really nice pieces," Patsos said. "I think we have a really good five or six guys. Our young guys are going to learn. I don't want to be too happy losing by 18, but there was no yelling (in the lockerroom after the game).

Siena doesn't get much of a breather. The Saints boarded their charter for Madison after the game where they meet defending national runner-up and 17th-ranked Wisconsin Sunday night on ESPNU.
