Game 1 Final Stats
Game 2 Final Stats

Michigan scored 12 unanswered runs on its way to a 6-2 and 6-0 doubleheader sweep of Siena Friday in Port St. Lucie, Fla. The Saints led the first game 2-0 after freshman Ryan Stefaniak's two-run single in the second, but it was all downhill from there.

Game 1 - Michigan 6, Siena 2

Travis Maezes' three-run homer down the right field line put the Wolverines up 3-2 in the third, and they put the game away with three more runs in the fifth.

Siena starter Bryan Goossens worked four innings allowing seven hits and four runs. Kyano Cummings pitched the final two innings of the seven inning contest allowing two runs.

Michigan out-hit Siena 11-3 and got effective outings from Ryan Nutof, Bryan Pall and Donnie Eaton. Pall was credited with the win, working 2.2 innings of relief and allowing just one hit.

Jackson Glines, Carmen Benedetti, Cody Bruder and Jake Bivens each had two hits for Michigan (4-5). Dan Swain and Brian Fay joined Stefaniak with hits for Siena (1-8).

Game 2 - Michigan 6, Siena 0

Keith Lehmann and TJ Shook combined for a two-hit shutout and Michigan broke the game wide open with five runs in the fourth on its way to a 6-0 win and doubleheader sweep.

Joe Drpich and Carols Tapia had Siena's two hits and reliever Matt Quintana pitched 2.1 shutout innings with three strikeouts.

Maezes got the Wolverines on the board with an RBI single in the first and Eric Jacobson's two-run single to center opened the flood gates in the fourth. Michigan pounded out six of their 11 hits in the decisive frame.

The two teams will play again Saturday - first pitch is slated for 11 a.m.
