LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – Both the Siena Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs have been honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America with 2014-15 NSCAA College Team Academic Awards. Siena is one of 208 schools across the Division I, II and III levels to have both its soccer program’s recognized for meeting the criteria of maintaining a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

This marks the 13th consecutive year in which the women’s program has won the award and fourth time in the past five seasons that the men’s program has been bestowed with the honor.

The men’s team currently possesses a 3.30 cumulative team GPA – the highest of Siena’s nine men’s programs – and set a program record last fall with 11 MAAC All-Academic Team selections.

The women’s team ended the 2014-15 academic year with a 3.42 cumulative team GPA and boasted 10 MAAC All-Academic Team honorees last fall.
