Siena Men's and Women's Track teams headed up to Middlebury, Vermont to take on the Middlebury Invitational. The Saints competed in just six events as a tune up for the MAAC Championships.
Mary McNally, who has not run the mile in the Green and Gold competed as the sole Saint in the event with a 5:48.40 finish. Aidan Canavan and Jason Linendoll ran the event on the men's side, with Linendoll taking a stab at it for the first time for the Saints. Canavan came in at 15:52.41, while Linendoll finished in 16:34.69.
Setting a personal record in the 5000m, Carissa Kahn finished the run in 19:09.26.
Daniel Medici ran the mile on the men's side in 4:43.21. Michael Carroll finished the race in 4:49.44. Both Chris Estremera and Cole DiGiacomo competed in the event for the first time for the Saints and finished in respective times of 4:46.44 and 4:50.24.
Grant Norton and Ittai Rosales ran in the 800m with the two finishing in 2:08.18 and 2:07.41, respectively.
Estremera also took to the 1000m for the first time donning the Green & Gold and finished in a time of 2:45.51. Medici came around the track in 2:48.37. DiGiacomo finished in 2:58.73 for his first collegiate 1000m, while Carroll finished in 2:53.57.
The men's and women's team will head to Boston, Massachusetts for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10 for the final indoor meet before the MAAC Championships.
