WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Each of the top four hitters in the Monmouth batting order homered as the Hawks captured the decisive rubber game of the series 7-1 over Siena Baseball on the Jersey Shore. Marcos Campos scored the lone run for the Saints, while also extending his hitting streak to 17 straight.

Red-hot Monmouth (26-22, 14-7) scored runs in four of the first six innings to secure its 14th win in its past 16 games. The Hawks' top-four hitters combined to account for all seven runs scored and RBI as well as nine of the team's 13 hits.

After scratching across an unearned run in the first inning, Monmouth received a two-run home run from Pete Papcun in the third and homers from both Danny Long and Kyle Norman to account for a three-run fourth.

Siena (16-32, 12-9) scored its run in the fourth when Campos crossed home plate on an RBI single from Brian Kelly. The run was Campos' 18th scored during his impressive 17-game hitting streak in which he's connected at a .431 (31-72) clip.

The Saints return to the Capital Region to close out the regular season with four games next week at Siena Field. Siena hosts UMass Lowell in their final regular season non-conference contest Wednesday at 2 p.m.
