Andrew Knoll & Jack Hamilton will Join the Saints Beginning Next Season

LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Men's Golf Head Coach Steven Jensen announced the signing of two incoming golfers, completing the team's 2020 recruiting class Thursday afternoon. Andrew Knoll and Jack Hamilton will join the Saints' roster as its members of the Class of 2024.

"We are excited to announce that Jack and Andy are becoming part of the Siena family," Jensen said. "Both of these guys are going to be great student athletes on and off the golf course. As their coach, I look forward to seeing how their golf games develop over the next four years."

A product of Notre Dame Preparatory High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, Knoll enters Siena ranked within the top-20 individual golfers in the Class of 2020 out of Arizona. Ranked at no. 458 nationally by the Junior Golf Scoreboard, he recently captured the HJGT Arizona Junior Open individual title, carding rounds of 67 & 70. Knoll has also recorded four other top-10 finishes as of recently, competing at the Phoenix Metro Junior tournament, the Desert Mashie Spring Championship and the UMG Academy Junior World Qualifier among other national events.

Coming to the Capital Region from Radnor High School in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Hamilton also ranks inside the individual top-20 in his class within his home state. He is currently ranked no. 1258 by the American Junior Golf Association, and recently logged a top-5 finish at the IJGT Faldo Series. Hamilton tied for sixth at the Jr. PGA Championship Qualifier in June 2019.

The pair will join a roster of seven current Saints, all of whom are currently below their senior year and will return next season.
