Freshman shortstop
Devan Kruzinski drove in the game-winning run with two outs in the ninth as Siena Baseball defeated Stetson 8-7 in DeLand, Florida. Kruzinski finished with three hits and three RBI for the Saints who took their second game from the 2018 NCAA Super Regional participants.

Jonathan Crimmin, and
Zach Durfee each tallied two hits apiece as part of a season-high 13-hit barrage for clutch Siena (2-4) which scored six of its eight runs with two outs. Durfee also drove in a pair of runs, while
Brian Kelly scored twice.
Austin Bogart and Jonathan Meola each registered three hits and a pair of RBI apiece for Stetson (1-6). The Hatters also did the majority of their damage with two outs, where they scored five of their seven runs.
The Saints jumped out to a quick 4-0 advantage thanks to run-scoring hits from
Nico Ramos and
Jonathan Crimmin in the first inning, and a two-run single by Kruzinski in the second.
Stetson got on the board with a run in the fourth before tacking on four runs in the fifth to claim a 5-4 advantage. Bogart and Meola each delivered two-out, two-run hits for the Hatters.
Resilient Siena responded with three runs in their next at-bat in the sixth.
Alex Milone tied the game with a two-out single, and Durfee continued the Saints' two-out magic with the go-ahead two-run single.
After Stetson knotted the score one final time with a pair of runs in the eighth, Siena struck last in the ninth. With two outs and pinch-runner
Scottie O'Bryan representing the go-ahead run at third, Kruzinski singled through the left side of the infield for the decisive RBI.
Freshman
James Flood tossed 1.1 scoreless innings of relief to earn his first collegiate victory for the Saints, while
John Nolan secured the final two outs for the save.
Siena will look to capture the four-game series Tuesday when the teams match up for the finale at 6:30 p.m.
