Kibet made the field after posting a time of 1:49.07 two weeks ago at the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Princeton University. The time was good enough to take the IC4A Championship, finishing at the top of the field. It will be his second trip to the big dance, as he became the first in Siena history to accomplish the feat last season. His time from last weekend ranks 55
th overall in the NCAA, as he will be the 20
th seed in the regional. The time also currently sits as the current program record in the event as well. Kibet is the only Saint in the history of the program to reach an NCAA competition.
