LOUDONVILLE, NY – "We are a second half team."
That's what Siena Track head coach
Elizabeth DeBole has been instilling in her teams as they both get ready to take part in the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend in New York City.
The Day One championships, which largely include preliminaries, begin at 5 p.m. from the Nike Armory Track & Field Center on Saturday and can be watched on
ESPN+ and results may be tracked on
armorytrack.live.
The first event is the men's one-mile prelims at 5 p.m. with the last event being the women's high jump set for 8 p.m.
Day Two championships also start at 5 p.m. with the men's one-mile finals.
The last event is set to go off at 6:45 p.m. with the women's shot put.

The charge for each day ranges from $25-37.58.
On the men's side, several Saints are primed for strong finishes with
Tyler Greene,
Colin Brunelle,
Austin Ferrin,
Jackson Cayward,
Ralston Frattarola and
Jake Passalugo all looking to make their mark.
Greene led the Saints in the recent 3K event at BU's John Thomas Terrier Classic by finishing in 8:14.65 (67
th).
Green, a senior from Scotia, NY, also ran the 800-meter in 1:53.37 for sixth place overall, besting her previous best time of 1:54.50 at the Bison Outdoor Classic back in April of 2023.
Brunelle ran his PR in the 5K event at BU's John Thomas Terrier Classic on Jan. 31 (14:35.01) to place 48
th overall.
Rookie sensation
Austin Ferrin took first place in the men's 3,000-meter at the Crowell Invitational in 8:32.74.
Cayward ran a 4:21.47 in the one-mile at the Fastrack Invite this past season, but has run as fast as 4:12.44 in the event.
Frattarola, a sophomore, ran the 800-meter in 2:00.28 at the Fastrack Invite and earned a third-place spot at the Crowell Invite with a time of 2:03.58.
Passalugo has been competitive in the men's 5K event, finishing in 15:09.86 for sixth place overall at the Fastrack Invite.
On the women's front, senior
Mattingly O'Rourke has her eyes sight on a big meet after smashing her previous best time in the 1K event that she ran in at the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic by over six seconds by finishing in 2:56.55 for a top-30 finish the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 14.
It was the fourth fastest time in program history.
O'Rourke also ran the one-mile event in 5:05.24 at the Fastrack Invitational (17
th overall) on Feb. 6, beating her previous best time of 5:05.58 that she ran at last year's John Thomas Terrier Classic.
The 800-meter is another race to keep an eye on for O'Rourke as the Glenville, NY native took sixth place in the 800-meter at the Harvard Invitational (2:16.23) on Jan. 31.
O'Rourke was also a part of the Siena 4x800 relay team that won last year's MAAC Indoor Track championship, however she is the lone returner from that team.
Junior
Faith Skowvron has raced gamely with a second-place finish in the Crowell Invitational's 3,000-meter event (10:37.65) and additionally, the Addison, NY native ran the one-mile at the Harvard Invitational in 5:24.85 for a Top-30 finish.
Senior
Julianna Tourangeau closed out in third place in the 3,000-meter with a time of 10:45.66 at the Crowell Invite. She ran the one-mile in 5:18.24 at the Fastrack Invite.
