LOUDONVILLE, NY – The complete 29-game 2019-20 Siena Basketball regular season schedule is official following the announcement of the 20-game Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference slate. The Saints will play a total of 14 regular season home games at the Times Union Center, nine of which will be contested on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Siena's nine-game non-conference schedule, highlighted by matchups against four programs which either won or shared their respective conference's regular season championships last season, was previously released last month. The Saints are set to tip-off the Carmen Maciariello era on Tuesday, Nov. 5 vs. American at the Times Union Center.

After playing an unbalanced 18-game regular season conference schedule the previous two seasons, the MAAC will revert back to a 20-game league slate this winter for the first time since the 2016-17 season. As a result, Siena will play each of its 10 MAAC rivals twice – both once home and once away – as part of a balanced conference docket.

The Saints will kick off the New Year and open MAAC play when they host Monmouth on Friday, Jan. 3 at the Times Union Center to complete a now three-game homestand. Siena hosts Bucknell (Dec. 21) and Holy Cross (Dec. 29) to conclude both non-conference action and the 2019 calendar year.

The Saints will play seven of their 10 MAAC home games on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Highlights to the conference home schedule include a season long five-game homestand from Feb. 7-19, capped by a matchup vs. four-time defending MAAC Tournament Champion Iona on Feb. 19 at the Times Union Center. The five-game homestand matches the program's longest in regular season action since playing seven straight in the Capital Region from Dec. 30, 1990 – Jan. 16, 1991.

Conversely, Siena will play both four of its first six and four of its final five regular season MAAC contests on the road, with the majority of home games sandwiched in-between. The Saints will play a stretch of seven out of nine games at the Times Union Center during a nearly month-long span between Jan. 24 – Feb. 19. Senior Day is set for Wednesday, Mar. 4 vs. Niagara with the regular season coming to a close on Mar. 6 at Monmouth, whom Siena bookends its league schedule against.

The 2020 MAAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships premiere in Atlantic City, New Jersey for the first time from Mar. 10-14. This season, the MAAC Tournament will commence on a Tuesday with the championship game scheduled for Saturday.

Excitement is high surrounding the Saints entering the 2019-20 season under the leadership of Maciariello. Siena is set to return 10 letterwinners from last year's team which posted a 17-16 overall record and finished tied for second in the MAAC with an 11-7 league mark.
