LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Swimming & Diving saw one of its own take home MAAC Diver of the Week honors for the second consecutive week on Wednesday. Sophomore diver
Talia Spenziero took home the award for the first time in her career, marking the second time in three total weeks that the Saints have taken home the award.
After setting personal scoring bests in both the one and three meter diving events during the previous meet, Spenziero placed second in the one-meter event with a score of 197.69 and fourth in the three-meter with a mark of 212.32 during the Saints' tri-meet against Rochester and MAAC foe Canisius last Saturday. Her marks helped the team earn its second win of the season over Rochester.
The Clifton Park, NY native became the fourth diver in program history to take home a MAAC Diver of the Week award and joined junior
Lydia Delano in garnering honors this season, marking the first time ever that two different Siena divers have won MAAC Diver of the Week in the same season.
Siena returns to action on Saturday, November 6 when it hosts New Hampshire at 1 PM at the Siena Swim Center on Senior Day.
