The Saints are now winners of their last four games, and ties the longest winning streak in the Abigail Rehfuss era. The last time the Saints had a four-game winning streak came from Rehfuss' first season at the helm in 2018, when they won four straight from March 6 through March 21 of that year. Siena sits a perfect 4-0 at home this season, as both sides meet for the 10th time, with Monmouth holding the 7-2 advantage over the Saints. However, the Saints have won the last two meetings, including the last time they met in the 2019 MAAC Championship Semifinals.

Last time out, The scoring was plentiful and well dispersed for the Siena women's lacrosse on Tuesday afternoon, as they defeated the Marist Red Foxes by a final score of 17-11. Leading the way for the Green and Gold was senior Kerry Gerety who finished the game with six points, tossing in five goals and an assist on the stat sheet. Freshman Laura Bonomo had herself her best collegiate performance so far, scoring five goals. Reigning back-to-back MAAC Offensive Player of the Week Kaitlyn Dowsett also provided a five-point effort with two goals and three assists. Junior Mary Soures also added four points with a trio of goals and an assist.

Monmouth currently sits 7-2 overall, and recently withstood a second half run by Manhattan to earn its seventh victory of the season by a score of 15-11 this past Sunday afternoon. The Hawks were led offensively by Caroline Bleck, Marissa Legera and Ally Turturro who each scored a trio of goals. Overall seven different Hawks scored with Chloe Novak and Hope Steuerwald each finding the back of the net two times. Senior Nicole Ceraso led the Hawks in points, dishing out six assists in the contest. Goalie Stephanie Delliturri had 12 saves in between the pipes while defender Gina Verrone corralled 10 draw controls in the win.

The last time these two teams met, the Saints defeated the second-seeded Monmouth Hawks by a final score of 16-15 after trailing by as many as six goals in the first half. It would be an 8-0 run to start the second half that would jump the Saints to victory, holding the Hawks off despite not scoring over the final 10 minutes of the game.

The Saints will be honoring 11 seniors prior to the start of the game – Alexis Bower, Annie Brennan, Kaitlyn Dowsett, Emily Fiorillo, Kerry Gerety, Hayley Kmack, Kelsey Lane, Nicole McNeely, Ally Mervine, Julia Pelcher, and Emily Pomeroy. The Green and Gold will also mention in honor their seniors from last season – Catherine Quinlan, Kaitlyn Lembo, Therese Pitman, and Megan Power – prior to the game as well.
