Siena Basketball to Host Saint Rose in Exhibition

Matchup Set For Oct. 25 at Times Union Center

LOUDONVILLE, NY – Capital Region college basketball is set to make its highly anticipated return to the Times Union Center in October. Fans will have their first opportunity to get an early sneak peek at the 2021-22 Siena Basketball team when the Saints host local foe The College of Saint Rose in an exhibition matchup on Monday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Times Union Center.
 
Tickets to the exhibition are on-sale now, and can be purchased by clicking the corresponding link, or by contacting the Siena Fan Relations Management Center during traditional business hours Monday-Friday by phone at (518) 487-2202, by e-mail by e-mail at sienatickets2@siena.edu, or online at sienasaints.com/tickets. Tickets for the exhibition start at just $10 for adults, and $5 for children ages 12 and under.
 
Tickets to the Siena-Saint Rose exhibition game are included in the season ticket package for 2021-22 Siena Basketball Season ticket holders. Season tickets for the 2021-22 Siena Basketball season start at just $75, and can be secured by clicking the corresponding link or by contacting the Siena Fan Relations Management Center. Additionally, all fans who have either purchased or renewed their Siena Basketball season tickets prior to Sept. 24 will be automatically entered for their chance to win a premium prize as part of the Saints Six for September promotion.
 
The preseason matchup vs. Saint Rose marks Siena's first exhibition in four years dating back to the 2017-18 season, and first at the Times Union Center in 11 years. The Saints defeated Division II Adelphi 67-59 downtown on Oct. 30, 2010.  
 
Siena is looking to build off back-to-back MAAC Regular Season Championship campaigns with an exciting new roster highlighted by nine talented newcomers, featuring six upperclassman transfers and three true freshmen. The Saints recently revealed their 2021-22 regular season schedule, which commences on Nov. 9 with the Br. Ed Coughlin Franciscan Cup at sister-school St. Bonaventure, followed by the home-opener on Saturday, Nov. 13 vs. Delaware.
 
Division II Saint Rose posted a 4-3 overall record during their abbreviated 2020-21 season this past spring.
