LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Softball will have to wait one more day to commence home play at the Siena Softball Field in 2022. Due to wet weather continuing in the Capital Region, the Saints' scheduled home opener doubleheader against Iona for Sunday, April 10 has been pushed back.  
 
The Saints and the Gaels will now face off in MAAC doubleheader action on Friday, April 15 at Noon and 2 PM. Siena is now currently scheduled to open 2022 home play on Monday, April 11 against Fairfield at 2 & 4 PM, after those games were rescheduled from Friday due to weather.  
 
Friday's doubleheader with Iona will be broadcast on Siena All-Access. The Saints' home twin bills against Fairfield on Monday and Colgate on Tuesday, April 12 are set to air on ESPN3.
