HAMPDEN, MA – Siena Men's Golf locked up a second-place finish at the 54-hole UConn Invitational at GREATHORSE on Tuesday in Hampden, Massachusetts, marking its best finish at the top regional event in five tries.
The Saints shot a week-low round of 289 in the final day of action to finish at +15, 879 (290-300-289) to best Boston College by two strokes. Host team Connecticut (+4, 869) took home the team title.

Michael McConie (70-76-71) joined fifth year
Matthew Ferrari (72-74-71) in finishing in a five-way tie for third place individually with a 54-hole output of +1, 217. Fifth year
Nolan Crowley carded rounds of 71, 75, and 74 to land in a split for 12

Austin Giroux (81-75-73) finished tied for 43

Siena will continue fall action by returning home to the Capital Region to battle sister school St. Bonaventure in The Murray Cup on Tuesday, October 10 at Schuyler Meadows Country Club.
