LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Metro Atlantic Athletic conference (MAAC) announced the six members of Siena Men's soccer took home All-MAAC accolades for their play during the 2023 regular season on Monday morning. The announcement came ahead of the Saints' MAAC Semifinal match against #3 Rider at Hickey Field on November 9.

The announcement marked the third straight year under head coach
Graciano Brito that the team earned six or more All-MAAC honors in a season, and brought the fourth-year head coach's MAAC honor total to 22 under his watch.
Kone led the Green and Gold with five goals and added an assist to total 11 points for second-most on the team during the regular season. The Toulouse, France product netted the game-winner in the Saints' 2-0 win over Marist in the regular season finale to end the regular season with a goal in three of the final four games.
Taking home All-MAAC honors after marking the All-Rookie Team two seasons ago, Gardner led the team with 14 points during the regular season despite missing two matches, including four goals and a team-high six assists. The Glastonbury, Connecticut native and co-captain recorded game-winning goals in the team's victories at Quinnipiac and at Manhattan, and ended the regular season by recording a goal or an assist in six straight contests.
Now a three-time All-MAAC selection in his collegiate career after making the Preseason All-MAAC squad, Winkelmann netted a goal and added two assists while appearing in all 16 regular season matches on Siena's back line. The co-captain from Ostercappeln, Germany aided the team in posting a 1.25 goals-against-average on the season.
The third freshman under Coach Brito to take home a first or second team nod in four seasons, Glinder posted an 8-7 record in goal over 15 starts during the regular season, recording four shutouts, a .778 save percentage, and a 1.07 goals-against-average. The Bremen, Germany product added 56 saves and twice earned MAAC Rookie of the Week honors, while also taking home MAAC Defensive Player of the Week once.
Now a two-time All-MAAC selection, Hersi went for two goals and three assists on the year while making five starts over 13 contests and missing a handful due to injury. The Decatur, Georgia native recorded game-winning goals in back-to-back contests at home against Fairfield and Mount St. Mary's and enters the postseason having recorded either a goal or an assist in four of the final five contests in the regular season.
A native of Munich, Germany, Biton made 12 starts during 15 appearances this season, tallying two goals and two assists. He netted the game-winners at Niagara and against Canisius, and was honored once as MAAC Rookie of the Week.
Additionally, Siena also featured 12 athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team for holding at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA with over one year on the team. Seniors
