LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Men's Lacrosse program built onto its' list of academic achievements by being named by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) as one of 37 Division I schools to be recognized with the 2023 Team Academic Award.
Presented by Blatant Lacrosse, the organization recognizes those men's lacrosse teams that achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher from this past season.
Other MAAC schools to earn the honor were Canisius, Marist, Mount St. Mary's and Sacred Heart.
This marks the second consecutive season in which the Saints have been honored after earning its' first USILA Scholar Team Award in program history in June of 2022.
In the 2023 spring semester, the Saints boasted an impressive 3.35 term GPA with a 3.27 cumulative GPA.
There were 21 student-athletes on the Saints who held a 3.5 GPA or better for the spring term.
