Saints Gain Recognition in Final Kane Inside Lacrosse Men’s D1 Media Poll

Siena closes out 2025 season with five consecutive mentions in poll

LOUDONVILLE, NY – For the fifth consecutive time in the KANE Inside Lacrosse Men's Division I Media Poll, Siena Men's Lacrosse is garnering attention.

The Saints (11-5) finished with its most victories in a season since 2014 and fourth MAAC Championship to garner the first spot outside of the Top-20 in the receiving votes section where eight other schools were also mentioned in the final media poll of the 2025 season.

Siena reached their high-water mark with the No. 20 ranking in the prior poll that was released about three weeks ago to accomplish something it had not achieved since June of 2011; a ranking inside the Top-20.

The Saints' five weeks spent in the National Media Poll marked the most weeks since the program was noted six times in polls throughout the 2012 season. Siena's eight weeks in 2011 remains the record for the program's most mentions inside the Media Poll.

In 2025, the Saints matched their longest winning streak of nine straight with a 12-8 over then #16/#19 Sacred Heart in the MAAC Championship on May 3 to match the program's longest winning streak since it won 10 in a row from March 21, 2009 through May 3, 2009.

Siena fell to then RV/#19 UAlbany at Casey Stadium 11-9 on May 7 in a NCAA Opening Round match up.  The Great Danes (10-9) jumped up to No. 16 in the final KANE Inside Lacrosse Men's D1 Media Poll.
