To the very end, Colin Clive was always more concerned about others.
When going through unimaginable loss, and with the cancer further debilitating him physically, he gave his closest friends strength. When he was dying, he made them appreciate life.
Clive, the former Siena lacrosse star, died at 31 on July 3. His legacy lives on following his courageous battle through the lacrosse community that became his family.
"Fearless. Courageous. Honest," said his close friend Kenny Carpenter, a teammate at both St. Anthony's and Siena as a goalie. "Even when he was battling, he really was somebody that you could lean on for anything."
