LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Swimming & Diving saw over half of its squad honored on the MAAC All-Academic Team prior to the start of the 2024 MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships. After posting a record semester in the classroom, the Saints featured 13 athletes on the team.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at Siena and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Overall, a total of 103 female student athletes were placed on the 2024 MAAC Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team.
Siena Swimming & Diving recently earned CSCAA Scholar all-America Team honors for the 23
rd consecutive semester with a record 3.76 team GPA during the Fall 2023 semester, which ranked as tied for seventh nationally among NCAA Division I women's swimming & diving programs.

Rory Kalac was named to the team for the fourth time, while seniors
Demi Bobarakis,
Audrey Shultz,
Talia Spenziero, and
Emily Sulik earned All-Academic Team honors for the third time. Juniors
Maddie Buck,
Kylie Carter,
Olivia Martin, and
Shaylea Triller made the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second time, while sophomores
Grace Neno,
Kaci Owens,
Brooke Pociask, and
Mya Reed were on the team for the first time.
Siena heads to Geneva, Ohio for the 2024 MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships, which are set to be held at the Spire Institute for the first time ever. The Saints will look to build on six place finishes in each of the last two years.
