Box Score 2 CLAREMONT, CA – Siena Water Polo continued its annual trip to California by kicking off two-day action at the nationally-recognized Claremont Convergence on Friday. The Saints (6-7) took a 17-8 win over the University of Redlands before dropping a tight 8-6 decision to Cal State Fullerton in Claremont, California.
Siena 17, Redlands 8
Siena cruised to its second-straight win over Redlands, netting the first five goals of the game and holding an 8-4 lead at the half. The Green and Gold also scored nine of the final 13 goals in the game, with nine different scorers pacing the offense.

Rebecca Currie in turning in hat tricks, while sophomore
Audrey Lacey and freshman
Quincy Frommelt netted a pair of goals. Senior
Caroline Behr made one save in-goal, while reigning MAAC Co-Rookie of the Week and Co-Defensive Player of the Week
Maggie Frye recorded seven saves and one steal.
Cal State Fullerton 8, Siena 6
Siena finished the day with a battle against a first-time opponent, and led by a goal at the end of the first quarter before entering the half down, 5-4. Fullerton scored both goals in a decisive third quarter of action and limited the Saints to only two more goals in the fourth.

Catherine Williamson each netted a pair of goals, while Lacey and Currie also got in the scoring column. Behr had three saves in-net, while Frye recorded four.
Siena will wrap action at the Claremont Convergence on Saturday, March 2 against a pair of Golden State foes, taking on Cal State Monterey Bay at 4 PM EST and facing Pomona-Pitzer at 7:45 PM EST.
