The Siena Men's Golf team is positioned tied for fifth among 18 teams after firing a 21-over par 309 on day one at the Battle at Rum Pointe on the Rum Pointe Seaside Links in Berlin, MD on Friday.
UPenn leads all teams with a 10-over-par-298 followed by LaSalle (301), Mount St. Mary's (304), and Iona (305).
Colgate is in a tie with Siena.
Matt Ferrari was the Saints' top finisher on the day with a 2-over-par 74 to placed seventh best on the day among 100 individuals in the field.
Nolan Crowley and
Dan Brooks each shot a five-over-par 77 to finish inside the top 20.
Siena will conclude competition on Saturday for day two with a scheduled first tee time at 8 a.m.
