LOUDONVILLE, NY – For the second straight week, Siena Baseball freshman standout Tyler Figueroa is the Rawlings Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week. The Colonie, New York product hit an even .600 with a .692 on-base percentage and a whopping 1.292 OPS spanning the Saints three-game series over the weekend at UNC Asheville.
 
Figueroa reached base safely at least twice in each game last week, registering at least a hit and a walk in every contest. He wrapped up the weekend by reaching base safely in all five plate appearances on Sunday, highlighted by his first collegiate four-hit game to go along with a walk. Through his first nine collegiate games, the freshman infielder is off to a .406 start at the plate with a 1.204 OPS, which ranks fourth and fifth in the MAAC, respectively, through the weekend.
