ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA – Siena Men's Golf once again turned in a solid round to continue 54-hole action at the Peoples' Golf Championship at Sea Palms Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia on Thursday.
The Saints turned in a round of +10, 294 for the second straight day to move into 15
th place in a crowded 22-team field, good for a 36-hole score of +20, 588.
Fifth year
Nolan Crowley continued to lead the way for the Green and Gold, turning in a round of +3, 74 to finish the day tied for 25
th on the par-71, 6,664-yard course. Classmate
Matthew Ferrari also went for +3, 74 to end the day tied for 37
th.
Sophomore
Austin Giroux improved five strokes in day two with a round of +2, 73 to finish the day tied for 75
th. Freshman
Michael McConie went for +7, 78 to end the day split for 99
th, while junior
Dan Brooks improved an astounding 15 strokes with a round of +2, 73 to finish the day tied for 124
th.
Siena concludes action at the Peoples' Golf Championship on Saturday, March 9 with tee times beginning at 8 AM.
