GLEN HEAD, NY – Siena Men's Golf improved by ten strokes during its final round of the 2023-24 regular season to close action at the Shark Invitational at Engineers Country Club in Glen Head, New York on Tuesday.
The Saints put forth a round three team score of +9, 293 to finish at +49, 900, good for third place in the 12-team field.
Sophomore
Austin Giroux (73-76-74) finished tied for tenth with a 54-hole score of +10, 223, while fifth year
Nolan Crowley (78-76-70) improved six strokes from round two to finish in a split for 13th at +11, 224.
Freshman
Michael McConie (76-75-75) landed in a tie for 16th at +13, 226, while junior
Nick Lyons (77-76-74) also improved to finish tied for 19th at +14, 227. Junior
Dan Brooks (79-85-84) rounded out the team's five-man competition squad in a tie for 61st at +35, 248.
Siena will look to defend its MAAC title at the 2024 MAAC Men's Golf Championships April 19-21 at Dosney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
