Box Score VILLANOVA, PA – Siena Water Polo ended its second-to-last MAAC weekend of the 2024 season on a high note, recording its first conference win of the year in blowout fashion. The Saints featured four players with hat tricks in a 19-9 win over VMI at the Villanova Swim Complex in Villanova, Pennsylvania on Sunday morning.
The Green and Gold netted the first five and six of the first seven goals en-route to recording the program's most wins in a single season since 2019. After holding a 9-3 halftime advantage, the Keydets scored five goals in the third quarter, but the Saints finished things off with five of the last six scores.

Lucia Fernandez Caballero each recorded four goals apiece, while freshmen
Catherine Williamson and
Rebecca Currie tossed in hat tricks. Sophomore

Samantha Varrie added multi-goal games, while sophomore

Maggie Frye split time in-goal, with Behr collecting ten saves and Frye adding seven.
Siena returns home to host Iona and Marist in its final day of regular season action on Saturday, April 13 at the Siena Swim Center. Â
