Brown Named Male Rookie of the Meet, Both Teams Match Best Finishes

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – After beginning the weekend with a pair of individual MAAC Champions, Siena Outdoor Track rounded out the 2024 MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with solid team performances and accolades to reflect them.

The Saints wrapped weekend action at the Michael P. Brady Track & Field Complex in Lawrenceville, New Jersey with a pair of fifth place team finishes, matching both programs' best outdoor finishes and the first time both teams have finished fifth in the same meet.
The conclusion of the weekend also brought the program's first-ever outdoor track major award winner, with freshman Collin Brown named the 2024 MAAC Male Track Rookie of the Meet after placing second in Saturday's men's 3,000-meter steeplechase and fourth in Sunday's men's 5,000-meter race.
