Siena Women's Golf concluded its trip to the Red Bandanna Invitational, hosted by Boston College at the par-72 Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, MA. The Saints took home a 10th place finish in the 15-team field, shooting +99 (963) over their 54 holes.
The team completed the third and final round of action on Tuesday, shooting +32 (320) over its final 18 holes.
Jillian Barend surged up the individual leaderboard following her +4 performance on Tuesday. The senior used two birds and 10 pars to jump from 23rd after two rounds to a share of a 16th place finish (+17, 233).
Freshman
Julia Kret shot 10-over for the second consecutive round to finish tied for 27th at +20.
Emely Kintzel played her finest round of the tournament on Tuesday, shooting six-over to leap 10 spots on the leaderboard for a 49th place finish (+29). She led the Saints with four birdies on the day, three of which coming on par-four holes.
Mackenzie Whitney holed out on Tuesday at 12-over to finish the tournament at +33, while
Chelsea Woods' +16 was her lowest round of the tournament, finishing her first collegiate competition at +54.
Siena will turn its focus to the inaugural UAlbany Great Danes Invitational which will be played from Saturday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 6. The tournament will take place at Normanside Country Club in nearby Delmar, NY.
