Plans announced for Bice/Clive Field at the Paladini Family Lacrosse Complex

There is nothing more precious than time, especially for Division I student-athletes. Siena athletes balance classes, coursework, practices, conditioning, and competition in pursuit of academic excellence and MAAC championships. They depend on access to facilities whenever it suits the demands of their schedules. Their time is precious, and they need our support.

Hickey Field is the College's only turf field. It currently supports four Division I teams, club sports, and intramural programs. The competition for access creates logistical headaches and leads to 6:00 a.m. field times and truncated practices. It's time we do better for our Saints.

Thanks to lead gifts from Mike '04 and Kerry '04 Paladini and Chris '85 and Linda Baldwin, the College is on its way toward raising the $4.5 million needed to build a new venue to complement Hickey Field. Bice/Clive Field at the Paladini Family Lacrosse Complex- which will become the new home for Siena lacrosse- will include fixed seating, a stunning entranceway, and a plaza area with restrooms and paved walkways between the fields.

The new field will eliminate the burden caused by one field, which presently puts our Division I teams at a competitive disadvantage and impacts the overall experience for all Saints participating in club sports and intramurals.
