Six Saints Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Four Honorees Selected as Academic All-America Finalists

LOUDONVILLE, NY – A total of six Siena Women's Soccer student athletes have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, four of whom have been selected as Academic All-America finalists.
 
Seniors Cate Flanagan, Sarah Harnett, Iona Snape, and Kam Vanderbosch, junior Abby Daly, and sophomore Catherine Rogers each earned CSC Academic All-District acclaim, with Daly, Flanagan, Rogers, and Vanderbosch were also selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists. The quartet advances to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members, with First, Second, and Third Team Academic All-America honorees set to be announced Dec. 16.
 
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible to be considered, student athletes must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically, possess a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or better, and must compete in at least 90% of their institutions matches or have started in at least 66% of the contests from the most recent season.
 
A Second Team All-MAAC selection, Daly earns CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight season. The Saints junior captain possesses a 3.97 cumulative GPA while majoring in Accounting, and has been named to both the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and Academic Honor Roll in each year of eligibility. Daly was also selected to the first-ever Eastern Athletic Communications Association Academic Honor Roll last season. On the field, the Pearl River, New York native started all 20 matches in the defensive midfield this season, registering a career-high 10 points on the strength of four goals and two assists.
 
Flanagan is a CSC Academic All-District honoree for the third consecutive season. The Mendon, Massachusetts native earned All-MAAC honors for the first time this fall, securing Third Team acclaim after smashing the program single-season record by finishing with 12 assists. The senior captain winger earned EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll recognition last fall, and has been named to both the MAAC All-Academic Team and Academic Honor Roll in each year of eligibility. Flanagan holds a 3.60 cumulative GPA as an Economics major.
 
Harnett earns CSC Academic All-District acclaim for the second straight season. The Wantage, New Jersey product possesses a 3.80 cumulative GPA while majoring in Accounting. The senior left back appeared in all 20 matches this fall and earned Second Team All-MAAC honors after serving as a linchpin for a back line which accrued a stellar 0.75 goals against average and 10 shutouts. Harnett previously earned EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll recognition, and has been both a MAAC All-Academic Team and Academic Honor Roll selection in each year of eligibility.  
 
Rogers adds to her already long list of awards as a CSC Academic All-District selection in her first year of eligibility. The Webster, New York standout holds a 3.97 cumulative GPA while majoring in Health Studies Health Science. The sophomore midfielder earned First Team All-MAAC honors this fall after ranking tied for fifth in the conference in both scoring (20) and assists (six), and tied for seventh in goals (seven). Rogers was also named a MAAC All-Academic Team selection this fall after earning MAAC Academic Honor Roll acclaim this past summer.
 
Snape joins Flanagan as a three-time CSC Academic All-District selection. The Woy Woy, Australia native holds a nearly unblemished 3.99 cumulative GPA as a Mathematics major. The senior winger appeared in all 20 matches this fall, while dishing out three assists. A 2023 Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar, Snape was named to the EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll last year, and has earned both MAAC All-Academic Team and Academic Honor Roll honors in each year of eligibility. Earlier this fall, she was tabbed the Siena Leo and Jeannine Dufort Female Student Athlete of the Month for September.
 
Vanderbosch earns her second consecutive CSC Academic All-District honor. The Lancaster, New York native holds a 3.56 cumulative GPA while majoring in Accounting. The senior captain earned Second Team All-MAAC honors this fall after the center back quarterbacked a Siena backline which also achieved a program-record five consecutive shutouts through the conclusion of the regular season, establishing a school benchmark 538:19 shutout streak. The Siena Leo Dufort Female Student Athlete of the Month for September 2024, Vanderbosch also previously earned EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll acclaim, and has been named to both the MAAC All-Academic Team and Academic Honor Roll in each year of eligibility.
