Siena Men's Golf rounded out its trip to the Sea Palms Invitational in St. Simons Island, GA Saturday afternoon. The Saints had their best team score of the tournament, shooting +9, 293 in the third round to finish the tournament tied for 19th with a total score of +43, 895.
Backed by a score of two-under on the front nine,
Michael McConie came in at +3 in his third and final round. The sophomore finished the tournament tied for 54th with a three-day total of +7, 220.
Austin Giroux had the team's lowest round of the day at +1, 72. Giroux tallied two birdies along with 13 pars en route to finishing the tournament at +9, 222 - good enough for a share of 68th.
Nick Lyons and
Gavin Crowley finished the tournament with their finest rounds of the three days - Lyons shooting +2, 73, and Crowley +3, 74 on Saturday. Crowley's day was highlighted by shooting one-under on the front nine thanks to an eagle on the par-5 fourth hole. Lyons finished the tournament +13, while Crowley was 24-over.
KC Nickel finished +10, 81 Saturday for a three-day total of +21, 224. Unattached to the team score,
Dan Brooks shot eight-over Saturday to finish the tournament +15.
The Saints return to the course from Apr. 6-7 at the Abarta Coca-Cola hosted by Lafayette at Northampton Country Club in Easton, PA.
