Siena Women's Golf took home a fifth-place finish at the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships from Disney's Magnolia Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL, Saturday. In doing so, the team set the program record for low 54-hole score (920) - shooting +26, 314 during the final round to bring its 54-hole total to +56 (303-303-314-920). The Saints' position upon MAAC competition is also their best since taking fourth in 2019.
Freshman
Julia Kret took home a top-10 finish, and in doing so she tied the program's sixth-lowest 54-hole score at 226. She finished the tournament +10 overall (77-73-76), shooting +4 Saturday with one birdie on the day.
All-MAAC First Team selection
Jillian Barend tied the program's seventh-lowest 54-hole score, shooting 227 to finish tied for 11th. After shooting five-over on the front nine, Barend (76-72-79) recovered by shooting +2 on the back nine, highlighted by a pair of birdies.
Emely Kintzel shot +5 in her final round, finishing tied for 20th at +16 overall (75-80-77). Like Barend, Kintzel recovered from a six-over showing over her first nine holes by shooting -1 on the back nine. While not counted towards the team score Saturday,
Mackenzie Whitney finished 25th at +21 (75-78-84-237).
Chelsea Woods shot +10 to finish +19 over 36 holes (81-82-163).
