Saints Add Transfer Tasman Goodrick

Aussie Ranked Second Nationally in Double-Doubles at DII Level Last Season

LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Basketball Head Coach Gerry McNamara continues to strengthen the Saints front line this offseason. Sydney, Australia native Tasman Goodrick, who ranked second nationally at the Division II level with 20 doubles this past season at Gannon University, becomes the fourth official addition – and third transfer – to join the Saints 2025-26 roster.

"I'm really excited about Tassie," said McNamara. He has great versatility, is physical, and really skilled. At Gannon, Tassie was a double-double machine. His mobility separates him from a lot of guys his size. I still think there's a ton of upside for him to grow, because he has a great shooting stroke to expand his game. Tassie is going to be a fun one to watch for us!"

A 6-9, 225-pound forward, Goodrick matriculates to Siena College as a rising junior with two years of eligibility remaining. He began his collegiate career at Division I California Baptist University, before playing this past season at Gannon.

Goodrick joins the Saints following a breakout sophomore season at Gannon this past winter, where he earned both D2CCA All-Atlantic Region and NABC All-Atlantic District Second Team honors. A Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division First Team selection, he was a three-time PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week and a two-time PSAC West Athlete of the Week honoree this past season.

Goodrick ranked second nationally at the DII level this past season in double-doubles (20), seventh in offensive rebounding (4.4), 12th in rebounding (10.7), and 50th in field goal percentage (.555). He averaged a double-double overall, adding 15.6 points, highlighted by eight 20-plus point performances including a career-high 29 points at Clarion on Feb. 15. Goodrick also achieved a 20/20 game, posting 22 points and 20 rebounds vs. West Virginia State on Jan. 2. Additionally, he led Gannon with 32 blocks, and also contributed 50 steals for a 27-win team.

Goodrick appeared in nine games as a freshman at DI Cal Baptist in 2023-24, totaling seven points and eight rebounds spanning 38 minutes.

Goodrick captained St. Joseph's College, Hunters Hill in his native Sydney, where he earned GPS First Team and Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2021. His older brothers, Harrison (Nova Southeastern, Metro State), and Hunter (Cal Baptist, South Dakota), each previously starred at the collegiate level.

Goodrick is the fourth officially announced newcomer – and third transfer – to join the 2025-26 Siena Men's Basketball team, following graduate transfers Riley Mulvey and Antonio Chandler, and incoming freshman Christian Jones, who were all formally introduced last week. Stay tuned in the coming days for the formal announcements of additional newcomers set to join the 2025-26 Saints.
