Siena Men's Tennis sophomore Oscar Martinez added to his collection of MAAC weekly awards.
 
The La Guaira, Venezuelan native earned his fifth career Jersey Mike's MAAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week weekly award and second this season, it was announced by the conference office on Wednesday. 
 
In the Saints' 4-3 road conference win over Marist, Martinez earned his team-leading 23^rd singles victory of the 2024-25 season with a 6-4, 7-6 (3) victory against Jose Catala-Ortiz at the No. 1 position.
 
In doubles play, Martinez teamed with Emilio Zavala Salinas to top the duo of Nick Suhanitski and Augustin Damonte 6-1 at the doubles No. 1 spot to go 2-0 on the week. It marked Martinez's record-setting 24^th individual doubles win this season. 
 
Siena returns to action this Saturday in the MAAC Semifinals against an opponent to be determined at 10 a.m. from Mercer County Tennis Park in West Windsor, NJ.
