LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Women's Lacrosse seniors
Grace Dobrzynski and
Mikayla Cooke were selected to the All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Teams on Thursday as voted on by the league's 12 coaches.
Dobrzynski became the program's all-time leader in points earlier this season when she surpassed the previous high-water mark of 227 on a free position goal in the third quarter of a 7-6 victory at Sacred Heart.
The West Greenwich, R.I. native currently ranks third in the MAAC in assists per game (1.75) and is ranked seventh in points per game (3.31).
The Preseason All-MAAC team selection and tri-captain earned her second consecutive MAAC First Team nod and leads the Saints in points (53) with 25 goals and 28 assists.
She's registered at least one point in every game this season.
Additionally, the product of La Salle Academy ranks second on the team in ground balls with 23 and started all 16 games.
Cooke has had a career-season, starting all 16 games on defense.
The Fredon, NJ native has been the team's biggest disruptive force on opposing offenses with a team-best 20 caused turnovers and ranks third on the team in draw controls with 35.
The product of Kittatinny Regional ranks sixth in the MAAC in caused turnovers (13) in conference-games only.
Additionally, the tri-captain has collected a career-high 29 ground balls.
Saints had 17 student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team
Additionally, a total of 220 student-athletes were named to the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Marist University led all institutions with 24 selections, followed by Iona University and Sacred Heart University with 20 athletes each named to the All-Academic Team.
The duo of Fairfield University and Manhattan University were next with 19 honorees apiece, while the trio of Mount St. Mary's University, Niagara University, and Quinnipiac University all placed 18 members on the team. Canisius University (17), Siena College (17), Merrimack College (15), and Rider University (15) rounded out the academic team selections.
