ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - After notching the match-winning goal in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Fairfield, freshman Martin Piedeleu of Siena Men's Soccer was voted the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rookie of the Week, as announced Monday. 
 
Piedeleu scored his second career goal - his first match-winner- to lead Siena to a 1-0 victory over Fairfield Saturday. The rookie took it himself from near midfield, splitting multiple defenders before finishing to the upper corner of goal for the lead in the 47th minute. Over two games during the week he had five shots and two on goal. 
 
The Saints return to action at 3 p.m. Wednesday with a trip to Buffalo, NY, to take on Canisius.
