Colin Brunelle shaved off better than four seconds from his time a year ago in the men's 5K race on this same stage as the Siena Men's Track competed in the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday.
The West Sand Lake, NY native returned to Boston University's Track & Tennis Center and put forth a personal record time of 14:35.01 to place 48
th overall to pace the Siena squad. It marked improvement from 2025 when he finished in 14:39.78 and placed 97
th overall.
Freshman teammate
Max Decker followed him at 15:18.93 in 83
rd overall.
In the men's 3k event,
Tyler Greene led the Saints with a time of 8:14.651 for 67
th overall while he was followed by
Austin Ferrin (8:22.99) in 88
th,
Brody Santagata (8:49.32),
Jake Passalugo (8:50.68),
Marcus Homa (8:55.36),
Jake Gogarty (8:58.88),
Evan Wattie (9:18.88) and

In other events, sophomore
Ralston Frattarola ran the 800-meter open in 2:00.71 while senior
PJ Dauer finished the 1,000-meter in 2:39.50.
In the men's mile open, junior
Cormac Leahy crossed in 4:29.52 followed by freshman
Behn Thomas (4:30.46) and junior
Tyler Tkaczyk in 4:35.88.

Siena will be back in competition next week on Friday, February 6 at 12 p.m. at the Fastrack National Invite on Staten Island, NY at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
The ECAC / IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships will also take place next weekend on Saturday and Sunday at Boston University.
