LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Men's Soccer Head Coach Graciano Brito has announced the addition of midfielder Oscar Dean to the Saints' roster for the upcoming season.

"Oscar is a very talented young player who will bring energy, charisma, and quality to our team," said Brito. "He has a strong youth soccer background, and we're confident those experiences will help him make a successful transition to the college game. We're excited about his potential and look forward to watching him develop as a member of the Siena soccer family."

A native of Braunton, England, Dean joins Siena after spending six years in the academy system at Plymouth Argyle FC. He began his career with his local grassroots club before being identified and recruited into the professional club's academy.

Dean represented Plymouth Argyle in the 2022 SuperCupNI in Northern Ireland, competing as a 14-year-old in the Under-19 Premier Tournament. He scored a key goal in the club's final group-stage match during the prestigious international youth competition.

Dean earned full-time scholar status with Plymouth Argyle for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, competing with the club's Under-18 squad. He served as captain throughout the 2025-26 campaign, showcasing the leadership qualities that complemented his playmaking ability in midfield. Plymouth Argyle's academy describes Dean as a composed midfielder with an excellent ability to connect teammates and progress play through the midfield.

Dean brings leadership, technical ability, and experience from one of England's professional academy systems as Siena continues to build on a historic season that saw the Saints capture the program's first-ever conference championship and earn its first NCAA Tournament appearance.
